Mixed Up

My parents aren't divorced. The thing is, I wish they were. My father is such a jerk to me and my mother, more so me. I don't relaize why she stays with him. I mean he cheated on her, and he is abusive ot me, and was to my sister til she moved. It's messed up. My friends that parents got divorced, had it quite well, and my family life just sucks. I try to think that maybe it would suck to get divorced, but it wouldn't. I wish the best for you all who have parents that aren't divorced, but should be. Why is it that the ones that shouldn't be, are? And the ones that should be, aren't?

you got on the good side. My parents were supposed to get divorced when I was 3 years old. But he got arrested, and so they did not divorced until last year. My dad was in jail until i was 11 years old. he is abusive as well. I can almost relate to what you are going through, but i wish that i had your problem instead of mine.

divorce sux! i swear it does. my dad has been divorced 2 times, and is on his 3rd wife. my mom has been divorced 3 times, and is on her 4th husband. i have way to many brothers and sisters and steps and halfs... its ridiculous! but, if ur dad is that bad then u shud tell ur mom. take it from me... divorce is way better than having parents fight. tell them, or call social services.

I think that you should tell your mom you r true feelings our call a child support unit and tell them how you feel
