What can I do to help?
Hey everyone! My friend's parents are going through a divorce. They had been on vacation a couple weeks ago and when they came back, his dad served his mom with divorce papers. He's leaving her for another woman. Of course, my friend is taking this very hard. Except, he's not telling anyone about it. I found out because his mom told my mom. I want to let him know that I'm there for him if he wants to or needs to talk. But, I don't want to make him mad or embarass him. I know that when people are going through this, they need a friend, but sometimes they're too embarassed to let people know. Does anyone know how I can help him deal with this without wrecking his ego? Thanks for any suggestions that you can give me!

You can help by just being there for him. Don't bring up the divorce unless he does. The next time you talk to him let him know that you are there for him and if he needs someone to talk to that he has you. If he does tell you about it, just be compassionate and understanding and just keep letting him know that you are there for him. The best thing you can do for him is listen.

ehh dont say anything but if he does want someone to talk to him about it just make sure u make it clear to him that your there for them, even if it is just by listening to them.
