I think it would be I know who really truly cares about me my mom has raised me ever since I was 3 by herself thats when they had gotten a divorce and all my father never called and talked to me or sent me a b-day card or evem a happy bday but its okay I have my mom now and I have my friends thats all I need. When my dad talks bad about my mom I just look at him and say who was there and who wasnt then he would just make an excuse to make it all better but it dont... I have stoped talking to my dad it got to the point where I dont want nothing to do with him I dont say dad anymore even though he is really my dad I call him by his name in front of him and everything him being so stubborn and confident he has torn our relationship all to hell no joke but if anyone has anything they have learned from divorce put it down!!

Hey i'm only 13 but it came to the point last week where I actually fought with my dad I cussed him out and almost hit him til my boyfriend pulled me away to calm down. Yeah my parents are divorced and last week my mom got full custody of me and I'm glad!!! All my life I have been daddy's gurl but now I cant take it anymore... I have 2 have my boyfriend pull me away from my dad b4 I do sumthing I will regrete thats the line that has gone 2 far. I cant take it anymore 95% of my stress comes from my dad now u would think skool right? Nope oh my gosh I swear I CANT take it (crying) g2g my boyfriend is calling me. luv always Bethany

i have learned that the first year is the hardest.. and your parents will push you to tell them what the other said, but in the end it will be better

It is interesting how much you can learn by divorce because my parents have never been through such tough process. I'm sorry to hear you have been affected somehow.
